Nappier Adds 95K New Entries To State’s Unclaimed Property List

The state of Connecticut has a Christmas gift of $30.5 million for more than 95,000 individuals, businesses and organizations.Treasurer Denise Nappier’s office has updated its list of unclaimed property owners for the first time since 2013.Of the 95,231 new names on the list, about 50,000 have unclaimed property worth $50 to $100. But there are some big numbers on the list too. Three individuals have claims worth between $100,000 and $250,000, and two individuals have claims of $250,000 to $500,000.
